People ranked Washington, D.C., because the worst place within the U.S. in a sequence of head-to-head matchups between all 50 states and the district performed by YouGov.
The rating was based mostly on the locales’ “win proportion” — how typically that state gained the matchup when it was one of many two states proven. Washington, D.C. ranked lifeless final, with a win proportion of simply 35 p.c.
