SCHOHARIE COUNTY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Schoharie Financial Enterprise Corp. (SEEC) and nationally acclaimed wildlife Photographer, Invoice Combs, Jr., have partnered to create the Schoharie
County Eagle Path. The 2 hosted a Digital Launch Occasion Saturday to formally kick off the primary path excursions.

“We couldn’t be extra excited to lastly see this mission come to fruition,” stated Julie
Pacatte, Govt Director of SEEC. The path will appeal to locals and vacationers alike. “Not
solely will trail-goers catch a glimpse of the magnificent birds, we encourage the
birdwatchers to frequent the world eating places and retailers stimulating the native financial system.”

“I’m out on the path daily, watching the birds, learning their
habits, and I knew this was one thing that wanted to be shared, and loved by extra
than simply me.” Combs continued, “The eagles are creatures of behavior, and like to remain
near residence, so it may be most assured {that a} go to to the path will end in eagle
sightings.”

To organize for the launch, SEEC and Combs introduced a naming contest in
February to seek out names for the Cobleskill Eagle pair. So many submissions had been
acquired that the group reportedly partnered with Townsquare Media’s WGNA-FM 107.7 for a
listeners’ ballot to find out the winner, and the brand new names of the Cobleskill Eagles, who
are stated to be sitting on their nest in hopes of hatching a few eaglets quickly.

The brand new names of the Cobleskill Eagles are John Jacob & Anna Maria, paying homage
to the unique settlers of Cobleskill. Second place is Jack & Diane, and coming in third is
Liberty & Justice. The people who submitted John Jacob & Anna Maria within the
February contest will be a part of Combs on a guided tour of the Eagle Path at a later date.
