Moscow’s RIA information company reported that MiG-31 fighter jets had been scrambled immediately to intercept the US and Norwegian patrol. The information comes as Nato officers declare the organisation has seen an “uncommon peak” of flights in a number of areas. In a single incident initially of April, Nato stated they scrambled 10 planes to intercept Russian fly-overs in a six-hour interval.
