Press Secretary Jen Psaki introduced, “Consistent with the President and First Girl’s dedication to honor the sacrifices of all of those that serve together with veterans, their households, caregivers, and survivors, the President, and the First Girl have restored the POW/MIA flag to its authentic location on prime of the White Home residence.”
Trump took the flag down from on prime of the White Home residence and moved it to a location out of public view on the South Garden.
Reuters reported in September 2020, “A choice by the Trump administration earlier this 12 months to maneuver the flag honoring lacking conflict veterans from a outstanding place atop the White Home to a much less seen spot on the South Garden has angered some veterans and lawmakers, who see it as disrespectful and doubtlessly unlawful.”
Joe Biden has restored respect for American veterans to the White Home. After 4 years of being disrespected by Trump, President and First Girl Biden are honoring veterans in a outstanding and public method.
