Democrats, Republicans can have concepts about what they like and what they don’t like about our plan. That’s that’s a superb factor. That’s the American manner. That’s the way in which democracy works. Debate is welcome. Compromise is inevitable. Modifications are sure. Within the subsequent few weeks, the vp and I will probably be assembly with Republicans and Democrats to listen to from everybody. I will probably be listening, and be open to good concepts and good religion negotiations, however right here’s what we received’t be open to. We is not going to be open to doing nothing. Inaction merely is just not an choice.
Since I introduced this plan I’ve heard from my Republican associates say it’s too large. They are saying, Why not deal with conventional infrastructure? Repair what we’ve already acquired. Roads and the highways that exist already and the bridges. I’m glad to have that debate. However let me offer you my view. We’re America. We don’t simply repair for at this time. We construct for tomorrow.
President Biden isn’t going to waste time with pretend negotiations that Republicans enter into in dangerous religion. Biden is placing the requirement on Republicans that they need to negotiate in good religion, or they are going to be left behind.
Joe Biden is shifting ahead on an enormous infrastructure invoice, and he’s not going to stonewalled by pretend Republican negotiations.
President Biden is aware of all of Mitch McConnell’s methods, and he has develop into the Senate Minority Chief’s worst nightmare by not falling into his traps.
